Great jersey but not windproof or waterproof. Add an FDX gilet and you’ll be ok. Great value for money, highly recommended.

Happy with the product. XL size fits as expected. The jacket is breathable and good for 10-15C above zero. Dries well.If you want something rainproof, look for options with harder external shell.

I’m 6’5″, slim build 74kg, long arms, wide shoulders. I bought XL, and it is a snug fit. Not excessively tight, but I wouldn’t want it any tighter. I usually wear with a Tshirt or two underneath. My arms are long, and the jersey sleeves fit well. My arms are not muscular though, and the sleeves are a good, close, snug fit, just like they’re supposed to be, so if you have big arms, they may be too tight, so I’d go a size bigger than you would normally. Quality is good, the jersey is warm, for autumnal or spring days windstopping ability is good, and after a brief rain shower, I remained dry. The zip is not the smoothest, but works fine. Rear pocket access is good. Overall, I’m fairly happy, I would buy another for the price, although I’m tempted to go for a size bigger than I bought, so I can get more layers underneath in Winter.

Previously had a similar FDX item which was of good quality, felt the thermal effect during the winter with a thermal base layer. Pockets could be a little wider for easier access.Just a couple of reasons for not giving 5 stars is that the sleeves are too long and the high collar is somewhat tight when zipped to the top.Would buy again.

So needed a soft shell jacket for putting in some road miles and my mtb clothing was just a little bit too non streamlined.Bought this due to good reviews and price as ai can’t afford to spend upwards of £100 on a cycling top. With regards to sizing, ignore the sleeve sizing on the chart and measure by chest size (ignore what size it is eg L, XL) and but whichever size matches your chest measurementIts comfy on the bike, nice soft material. I do find the material behind the zip has a tendency to catch and you have to hold it out of the way when starting to do the jacket up.Have worn this on two rides now, and there is little to no wind resistance. Even with a base layer and a mid layer, this lack of wind proofing meant I was still quite chilly. This was with ambient temps of 12 degrees C and 8 degrees C before the windchill. Its probably OK on days with no wind.

I am pleased I brought this outfit it was a good fit, comfortable and I felt the thermal effects straight away and I felt it looked great on me.I would say look at the size guide carefully for this sort of product (I’d say that about any close fitting fitting clothing)

The fitting around the neck is very tight when fully sipped up.It’s a good warm Jersey apart from the tightness in neck. I probably should send it back.

I bought a jersey for the coming cool/cold rides, and chose this FDX Thermodream based on existing users’ reviews, price and the Roubaix badging and colour scheme (my bike model and colours). It’s a perfect fit on me (40 chest, 32 waist, longish arms) and and the thermal performance is excellent, allowing quick warm-up even in wind. The cardigan format allows unlimited opening for cooling (which you WILL need). At nearly 400g it isn’t super-light, but it feels substantial and is beautifully fabricated. My only niggle is the zip catching on the anti-draft flap, both upward and downward – but I’m sure you’ll cope 🙂
