Easy enough to put together even if instructions are not put together that well. Instructions don’t really tell you much about the resistance strength and how to set it.Used with a turbo trainer wheel so not getting any rubber shredding.Does not come with block for front wheel so I had to purchase one. You would have thought elite would supply one with the trainer. Site on amazon wants you to buy two! Purchased another make.Does not seem that noisy- I play music whilst on the trainer or use an iPad and use the utube training videos. I am not a serious rider so I don’t need to subscribe to a training app. The vids on utube are great. The resistance is the thing that lets this down the most. It has eight settings but 1-5 I don’t bother with. I use 6 or 7 when on a straight or flat and turn it up to eight to simulate working harder when I see a hill on the trading videos. I only use 4 when warming down. You do need a towel near buy and a swet catcher as even a 30 mins session can get quite hot especially being indoors. I have placed the trainer on a yoga mat which also protects the floor.Would recommend as you get decent hours in the saddle with clip less shoes which helps you get use to your bike and equipment. Also downloaded and app to help me get use to different Cadence as some apps have the cadence in the corner.

Quick and easy to setup, once you’re clear on the position of the roller for your wheel type. Quick release skewer is included.Trainer is good quality, surprisingly quiet compared to other trainers, and easy to fold up for storage.Make sure to not over tighten roller to tyre , or you will damage the roller and tyre (see recent one star “rubbish” review on what not to do) EDIT (Nov 2020) – I want to add that the Tacx tyre should not be used on this trainer – it is not suitable for the Elastogel roller and will shred roller and tyre as per the 1 Star review. I’ve used the Vittoria Red Trainer tyre on the trainer and have had no issues – I’ve covered approximately 1800km since end September.Zwift – buy an Ant+ dongle, a speed sensor, and a cadence sensor a for about £50.I average about 200 miles a week on the trainer using one of ny old road bikes. Easy to fit in, clip in and get cycling.

Well built and easy to use I bought this as an upgrade from a old £50 one I was using which was fine but you do notice the difference it is smoother.

Great product, does what it says. Great value for money. Only downside is the noise, but this is part and parcel with magnetic turbo trainers over fluid. It’s bigger than you think, so you’ll need a good space to store it.

I bought this just before the pandemic and I was SO pleased I did. On those days when the weather is terrible or cold, just pop on the bike and you feel the endorphins flowing. Everyone in the family has benefited for the ease of the bike trainer.

It’s more difficult to set up than I thought. I needed to buy a different tyre and inner tube as the mountain bike tyre just would have shaken it to pieces. Once it’s set up, it’s easy to take the bike in and out though. The variable resistance isn’t much use, because the difference between the highest and lowest setting is not very big. Even in top gear on level 5 it is very easy riding, which limits the intensity of the workout. It also throws out a lot of bits of rubber out the back, so bear that in mind! If you can afford a better one, it would be worth doing so, but it’s a decent beginner turbo.

One of the main bolts was missing so had to purchase a replacement myself or wait 2 weeks for Elite to send one (Christmas period)It is simple to put together once you know what you’re doing. The instructions are unbelievably bad.The trainer itself is of good quality and would have given 5 stars for the price if the bolt wasn’t missing.

A fun little project to set up and works for so many bikes. If you need to train this thing is great and the quick-adjust levels are really handy.

Nice Product but looked like it was reconditioned or used before… seems to work well but time will tell

Ideal if you have a spare bike, connecting another bike takes a while, especially if a different wheel size. However once assembled it works well & visitors are impressed enough to consider buying same model. great if the weather is bad & you exercise indoors. I used my wife’s bike, as I have been ill & need lower crossbar.
